This section consists of Budget, Financial Analysis, Supply and Services Procurement, Fixed Asset and Fleet Management, Contract Administration Support and HR Support.
The Business Analyst section includes Research and Development, which is responsible for streamlining processes to include but not limited to technology and personnel processes.
This section involves the 24/7 call center consisting of dispatch and customer service representatives, who work on 311 service requests, permits and work orders for water leaks/breaks, wastewater stoppages/repairs, legal claims and responses to constituents.
The Restoration section is responsible for restoring streets, landscaping, driveways, etc. after utility repairs are made.
The Internal Communications and Compliance section disseminates internal communications via Houston Water’s newsletter and various medians to ensure employees are informed and up to date.
